There is never a good time for nearly anything we’ve seen take place this year, like waves of challenges, swamping the little people with more than we already contended with…

Microplasm. org was not originally going to have Webfantry (or MTR), however, the hard strike of a quarantine left many small businesses strapped, in terms of how to connect their customers to their product catalogue, payment gateway, services, or other very complex problems to face as a business owner. Keeping up with the parameters set are sensical when we take measures for our health, but we also must continue operating, or the unthinkable could result in the long run.

Webfantry is a branch of Microplasm.org which has sprouted intentionally for the small Mum & Pop businesses who are only working with a small budget, and might have no clue what they need in terms of entering the online world. We like to try to defeat the myth, so the best way to really look at it, is to consider that you’re offering your website to your local townspeople – especially if you’re a local business. Reaching local people online is key, small businesses understand the value of long term customer relationships.

Many issues can arise when a new business arrives online, or when an old business breaks ground and shows up online, right beside the new guy… These dynamics are volatile and can be cloaked in a real mystique, especially if you’re new at the game. Having a grounded force to back you up, like Webfantry, might be something to consider as the terrain up ahead might become both more digital and more rocky as we go along…
